Happy post-holidays!
After digging out of the recent Seattle Tsnownami/Snowpocalypse, we've got quite a bit of preparing to do for upcoming shows!
- February 4, we'll be playing at the High Dive in Fremont with Thrivealike and Fascination Movement. Should be a perfect combination of dance/wave/synth-rock.
- February 10, we'll join Lesli and Larry of the Redwood Plan onstage for some Duran Duran covers during the Dancing on the Valentine Leukemia Benefit at the Crocodile Cafe.
- Our new video for "El Topo" has been posted on YouTube. Check it out! It features our friends from the band, "The Yellow Peril."

Happy holidays, Jupe Jupe friends! We just wanted to mention some recent highlights and announcements before letting you get back to your wintertime antics.
First off, our heartfelt thanks to all who came out and packed the Sunset for our "Reduction in Drag" CD release show! We had a blast playing with Fascination movement and Sports.
Our single, "Headlong to Ground," was featured in the November 11 KEXP podcast, "Music That Matters, Vol. 278--True Love Is the Land of a Thousand Dances," from DJ Kevin Cole. We've got one last show for 2011--"London Loves," Seattle's Britpop-dance night at the LoFi Performance Gallery (429 Eastlake Ave East), Thursday, December 7 at 9pm. We're sharing the bill with our good friends Dirty Sidewalks and some fantastic DJs who'll be spinning Blur, Morrissey, Pulp, The Kinks, and many other fine Brit bands.

November 2011: CD Release
A very happy November to everyone!
At long last, our second CD, Reduction in Drag, is officially released today! Buy it now at Bandcamp or CD Baby.
Reduction in Drag is a sleek, multilayered soundscape fueled by generations of pop music and pop culture. After hunkering down for nearly a year to write and record numerous tracks at Trevor Dutton's Studio Wormbone, we turned to Martin Feveyear of Jupiter Studios who has worked with a multitude of acts including REM, Modest Mouse, Robert Fripp, and Cornershopto help engineer and produce the 10 songs that appear on the album. We're now currently enjoying airplay on CMJ stations across the country, including our own 90.3 KEXP.
We're totally excited about this record, as we hope you are after you listen to it!
Come and see us perform live on November 4 at The White Rabbit and for our CD release show on Friday, November 18 at The Sunset Tavern (buy tickets). We can't wait to see you all!

Happy new(ish) year, everyone! We've been busy in the studio perfecting tunes and recording guitar tracks for our next full-length release--due sometime in the fall for your listening pleasure.
We also joined Lesli Wood of the Redwood Plan onstage for a lively and lovely Depeche Mode tribute night at the Crocodile.

Thanks to everyone who made it to our recent show with Tennis Pro at the Crocodile! Footage will be featured in Outsourced writer/director John Jeffcoat's new rockumentary, Big in Japan
Invaders enjoyed a four-week stay in the CMJ top 200 (for college radio) and cracked the top 10 at over 15 stations in the
"Something About Love" is currently on the playlist for The Gap. We've also licensed songs to The Real World: Road Rules, Keeping Up With the Kardashians and The Bad Girls Club. Damn!
On the recording front, we're busying ourselves with a full-length follow-up to Invaders—due to be in your hands next fall.
